## Math 2

Math II continues a progression of the standards established in Math I. In addition to these standards, Math II includes: polynomials, congruence and similarity of figures, trigonometry with triangles, modeling with geometry, probability, making inferences and justifying conclusions.

Math II covers concepts from geometry, algebra, and probability. Each unit will integrate concepts from algebra and geometry to solve real world application problems. Throughout the course students will develop their problems solving skills to analyze applications and data so that they may be more competitive and competent in their future endeavors.

Honors level Math II students are expected to be self-lead to solve rigorous real world problems using multiple concepts learned in previous math classes and Math II. Students also need to have a wide range of mathematical knowledge to manipulate formulas/equations for specific problems. Honors Math II has a faster daily pace to accommodate the many activities/investigations for maximum problem exposure.
